Yuki Kawauchi (2:15:58) and Desiree Linden (2:39:54) are the winners of the Boston Marathon.

April 16, 2018

Kawauchi is an amateur from Japan. Linden, from Michigan, is the first American to win the race since 1985. Marcel Hug of Switzerland (1:46:26) and Tatyana McFadden of the U.S. (2:04:39) are the wheelchair winners. Times are slower than normal because of the cold, rain, and high wind that make it one of the most difficult runs in marathon history.
